The Switch 2 has a built-in limiter for its HD Rumble. Players have reported instances where the Joy-Cons will stop vibrating temporarily following extended use, and it’s unclear yet exactly why this happens.Prolonged phases of vibration-heavy gameplay cause the Joy-Cons to stop rumbling for a period of time. When a threshold of use is hit, the Switch 2 presents a pop-up screen to the player that states, “Rumble has been turned off due to prolonged use.”We have run into the HD Rumble shutoff ourselves in Cyberpunk 2077 while using the mini-gun.
